URLME LINK
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what URLMe Link collects and how that information is used.
Effective July 18, 2026
Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, workspace settings, plan status, and support communications. We also process destination URLs, short codes, API activity, redirect events, device and network metadata, and security signals.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. URLMe receives customer, subscription, invoice, and payment-status identifiers but does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
How information is used
We use information to operate the API and redirects, authenticate users, enforce plan limits, provide analytics, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, support customers, improve reliability, send essential service notices, and provide limited trial follow-up communications unless you opt out.
Analytics and cookies
URLMe uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand visitor journeys, signup and checkout progress, console navigation, product activation, and which campaigns are effective. In regions where prior consent is required, analytics storage, advertising storage, and advertising user-data signals stay denied until you choose Allow measurement. Elsewhere, measurement is enabled by default and you can choose Essential only at any time from Cookie settings. Google consent mode may send cookieless measurement signals when storage is denied. Advertising personalization and remarketing remain disabled in every region. We preserve advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters from the landing page through signup so we can record first-touch acquisition for the workspace. We do not send destination URLs, API keys, email addresses, or payment details to Analytics.
Service providers
URLMe uses Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, authentication, data storage, logging, serverless processing, and Google Web Risk destination checks, and Stripe for subscription billing. Destination URLs may be submitted to Google for threat detection. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when directed by a workspace owner, to investigate abuse or security incidents, to comply with law, or as part of a business reorganization.
Retention
We retain account and billing records while an account is active and as needed for legal, tax, security, and fraud-prevention purposes. Link and redirect records may be deleted or anonymized after account closure according to operational retention schedules.
Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted administrative access, hashed API keys, managed authentication, logging, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update account details in the console, rotate API keys, disconnect domains, cancel billing through the customer portal, unsubscribe from trial follow-up emails using the link in those messages, or request account deletion by contacting support@urlme.link. Marketing preferences do not suppress essential account, billing, security, or service notices.
Children
URLMe is a business service and is not intended for children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@urlme.link.
